Partners HealthCare at Home announced that Arthur St. Germain, vice president of private care, has recently completed a comprehensive course through the Society of Certified Senior Advisors (SCSA) and has earned the certification of Certified Senior Advisor(CSA).
“The course has given me a better perspective and deeper understanding of the aging process and the complex issues facing seniors today,” said St. Germain. “As improvements in healthcare allow people to live longer, the need for skilled professionals able to serve the senior population is always growing. This demographic shift requires a thoughtful and educated response in how we work with seniors and their families to address the challenges and opportunities they face. It was important to me to gain continuing education in specific health, social and financial issues so that we can offer new and innovative programs to help people live safely and independently in their homes.”
